AYDELOTTE
BAPTIST CHURCH
COMMITMENT
The Serve ABC program is an organizational system designed to change the mentality of church members into a service-oriented mindset, define specific roles and procedures for addressing the needs of the church campus and its members, and to encourage and train future leaders to operate within the system.
HOW IT WORKS
There are many needs within the church that often go unnoticed. This is because church leadership is not always aware of these specific needs, let alone address them. With Serve ABC, church members are challenged to fill out service request forms (green forms in the pews), which are then addressed by each Serve ABC team.

Serve ABC teams are church members. They are the eyes, ears, hands, and feet of our church. Each week, one of the four service teams will meet following the Sunday morning service. The team, overseen by a church deacon, will view the weekly assignments gathered from the service requests and address them in the appropriate manner.

In this way, we are able to gain awareness of needs that may have slipped through the cracks otherwise, address them in a timely manner, and delegate tasks to those with the appropriate passions and skills.

Fill out service request below (Subject: Serve ABC).
Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God. Don’t lord it over the people assigned to your care, but lead them by your own good example. And when the Great Shepherd appears, you will receive a crown of never-ending glory and honor. 1 Peter 5: 2-6
